On 'Buy-it-Now' auction is a VISCOUNT frame, fork & all else shown in the photos only, ready for your custom road bike build or restoration. The color is two tone silver & black. Center of the bottom bracket to the top of the top frame tube measures 23". The finish has seen better days but looking it over I notice no dings, dents or bends, just scratched up paint and some rust. All of the braze-ons such as the various cable stops are intact. There are no returns for any reason.
I mainly collect Chicago built filet brazed Schwinn's but had an opportunity to rescue this bike years ago since it is also a filet brazed frame. I've heard and read about the aluminum 'suicide' forks these came with as well as the square axle cranks rather than tapered. This one has a chrome plated Tange fork so I guess it was one of the ones recalled and changed out? I never did anything with it so it's time for a new home. There are no returns for any reason.
