The Pencil Torch is strong enough to melt easy silver and gold solder, small brazing rods, glass tubing, and many metals such as gold, silver, copper, tin, aluminum, and pewter.

For safety, the Pencil Torch is shipped without butane fuel. You will need to purchase butane fuel.
Operation
1. Fill the Pencil Torch with butane through the pressure fitting on the bottom of the Torch.
Only use butane fuel with this product!
Make certain that the Gas Control Dial is in the “OFF” position when filling the Torch.
2. To light the Pencil Torch: Turn the Gas Control Dial to “ON”. Listen for the sound of flowing gas.
Be careful to keep your fingers away from the path of the flame.
Move a lit match flame to the tip of the Pencil Torch to ignite the Torch. Once lit, the size of the flame can be adjusted by rotating the Gas Control Dial.
3. To extinguish the Pencil Torch, turn the Gas Control Dial to the “OFF” position.
4. When done using this product, allow it to completely cool down, and store it in a safe location that is out of reach of children.
