Giovanni Battaglin is a legendary former cyclist, born July 22, 1951 in Marostika.
In 1981he won the Vuelta and Giro and became the second after Eddie Merckx to win a double win in the Vuelta Giro.
In the early 80s he decided to start assembling bicycles in a small workshop near his hometown.
He released his first bike very quickly. Battaglin has only produced high quality racing bikes, building frames using its expertise as a great professional.
Early models such as the Giro and Vuelta caught the attention of the bicycle industry, and soon investor support boosted the Battaglin's growth potential.
