1/18 AUDI 90 IMSA GTO Portland 1989 On A Wall Hanging Model Mount
This is the Audi 90 IMSA GTO. The 1/18 scale diecast model by Werk 83 is mounted on a meticulously hand painted, livery themed Model Mount.
THIS PIECE WAS CREATED USING:
- Wooden painting panel
- Acrylic paints
- The piece is coated in 1/8 inch thick layer of crystal clear epoxy resin.
I had always had this idea to display my models in a different way. I envisioned them somehow hanging on a wall. I wanted the cars to be attached to something that would really make them stand out. A few years ago I brought my idea to life.
